Job description

We are looking for Bothy Host (Maternity Cover – July 2026) for our wonderful Bothy.

As a key member of the team, you will aim to offer every visitor a memorable experience and foster a connection with the slow time of Heckfield estate, integrating the Bothy into its landscape and reconnecting guests with nature.

This position offers the opportunity to work on a beautiful country estate as part of an exceptional team committed to delivering outstanding customer service to both colleagues and guests.

Position responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provide a warm, friendly, and professional welcome to all guests.
• Maintain the highest standards of guest service by following the Bothy Protocols and demonstrating genuine care and attention to detail.
• Conduct tours for Bothy guests and act as an ambassador for the Bothy at all times.
• Accurately record guest preferences, update profiles, and communicate relevant information to colleagues.
• Ensure guest confidentiality, including data protection, medical details, and other sensitive information.
• Exhibit excellent oral and written English communication skills.
• Have previous customer service experience.
• Possess good computer skills.
• Coordinate guest consultation records with therapists, sharing all necessary guest information promptly.
• Become fully confident in all aspects of the spa operational system.
• Complete daily opening and closing procedures as per the operating manual.
• Liaise with other hotel departments to meet and communicate guest needs.
• Maintain good knowledge of all aspects of Heckfield Place.
