What you’ll do

As a Customer Development Manager, you’ll play a key role in growing our business with both new and existing customers – especially installers and professional end-users. You'll work closely with your sales colleagues and Market Development Managers to build customer loyalty, grow accounts, and contribute to our long-term growth.

Your main objectives
  1. Achieve annual sales and margin targets.
  2. Drive action plans to grow share of wallet and reduce churn.
What you'll be responsible for
  1. Develop and execute sales plans with the team.
  2. Guide prospects through the full sales funnel.
  3. Collaborate with Market Development Managers to drive repeat business and customer growth.
  4. Proactively support the local team with strategic, relationship-based selling.
  5. Use the Bosta UK 8 Question Plan to understand customer needs, position solutions, and close deals.
  6. Connect with customers via phone, email, and video calls.
  7. Make the most of our webshop to handle enquiries and orders efficiently.
  8. Identify and escalate field sales opportunities to the outside sales team.
  9. Participate in regular team reviews and planning.
Qualifications
  1. Professional with a recent degree in Business or a related field.
  2. 1–3 years of recent and relevant experience in sales, inside sales, or a similar role.
  3. Career-minded, IT-savvy team player with a passion for achieving results and the tenacity to succeed.
  4. Proficiency in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
  5. Proven ability to generate leads, qualify prospects, and manage the early stages of the sales pipeline.
  6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  7. Solid product knowledge and the ability to convey product value to potential customers.
  8. Strong analytical skills to assess sales data, lead quality, and pipeline performance.
  9. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple leads and tasks simultaneously.
  10. Customer-oriented mindset focused on building and maintaining relationships.
  11. Practical and/or technical knowledge of water piping systems is a plus.
