Role Overview

The hourly rate for this role is £12.98 (up to £14.36 across selected locations within London) plus a product allowance for all team members and ongoing training from our amazing brands and beauty experts.

We've re-invented the Beauty at Boots shopping experience to create a beauty retail playground where customers can get hands-on with products and receive personalised advice on all our beauty and skincare brands from our Boots Beauty Specialists.

About the role

As a Boots Beauty Specialist, your role will be to provide impartial, tailored advice, and guide customers to select the right products for them across a range of premium brands in our Beauty Halls. You will report to the Assistant Manager or Store Manager. Your responsibilities include:

1. Working amongst iconic brands including Fenty, Huda Beauty, MAC Cosmetics, Clinique, and The Ordinary with many more exciting brands to come.
2. Receiving immersive training, experimenting with the latest products, and working with beauty experts to develop your skills further.
3. Being part of a passionate and like-minded beauty team. While targets are part of the role, your main focus is to provide each customer with the right beauty and skincare products for them, regardless of brand.

What you’ll need to have

We're looking for Beauty Specialists who understand beauty retail—creative individuals who have perfected their beauty skills and want to inspire others. Essential skills and experience include:

• Obsessed with the latest make-up trends
• Empathetic and approachable
• Passionate about making others feel amazing
• Excellent communication skills to assist customers in finding the right products with honest and impartial advice
• Up-to-date with beauty trends and able to share knowledge to enhance the shopping experience
