Basket and Checkout Programme

Boots current customer experience for the checkout is 4 years old and is needing a complete redesign to improve the experience and with it increase the conversion to sales. WE have an iX design team working with the client to create the best possible customer experience. Alongside this redesign, the payments provider is changing which will alos enable new payment features to be offered. The Boots team are working alongside the IBM team created the user stories and the acceptance criteria. They require extra support as there is a large number of epic areas to be refined. This openseat is for 2 x business analyst/product owners to work directing as part of the Boots team to support the refinement of stories and to support the teams through development and test of the new checkout

The Product Owner will

• Work within the basket and checkout team to build the backlog of user stories with acceptance criteria and to prioritise user stories and get then to the position of being 'dev ready'
• Works with tech and dev leads to ensure the stories are structured in a way that helps them deliver incremental function/value
• Faciliate refinement session, show and tells, signoffs
• Work with UX/UI design to ensure the stories and the design are aligned
• Help clarify any questions that occur during development and testing
• Participate in progress reviews/demos during the dev process to ensure what is being developed is in line with Storys and ultimately the product vision
• Prepare the product manager for story sign-off so that it is achieved in a timely manner
