Job summary

Syntax Consultancy Ltd is seeking an experienced Boomi Solution Architect for a government IT transformation project in London. The role is a 3-month rolling contract with hybrid working (primarily remote, occasional travel to London/Telford) at up to £500 per day.

You will lead integration architecture, govern API/event patterns, and mentor agile delivery teams across discovery, design, and implementation phases.

Qualifications

• Strong experience designing Boomi/iPaaS integration solutions.
• Experience with API management design, governance, and catalogues.
• Experience defining event-streaming architecture and governance.
• Hands-on architecture leadership for agile delivery teams.
• Experience architecture assurance reviews and design recommendations.
• Experience ensuring observability, monitoring, logging, and DevSecOps integration.

Responsibilities

• Onboard priority projects onto the strategic integration platform.
• Produce project-specific integration designs aligned to iPaaS, API, and streaming patterns.
• Complete architecture assurance reviews and provide design recommendations.
• Support projects through technical discovery, design, and implementation phases.
• Design and document reusable integration patterns, templates, and reference architectures.
• Establish API governance processes and an API catalogue for clients.
• Define event-driven architecture standards, topic management, and governance approaches.
• Provide hands-on architecture support and technical direction to agile teams.
• Define requirements for observability, monitoring, and disaster recovery.
