Title: Bookkeeper

Hours: Part Time (16 hours per week)

Location: Inverness/Home Based

Salary: £14 - £16 per hour depending on experience

Details:
Our client is looking to appoint a Bookkeeper on a part time basis for approximately 16 hours per week (additional hours may be available to suit). This role is to be home based with occasional visits to the office in Inverness to review work.

Duties include:

Input and reconciliation of client accounts, often from incomplete records.
Bank account reconciliations.
Input using Excel and financial software systems.
Assisting in the preparation of VAT returns.
Updating accurate and up to date client files.
Ensuring all records are input and reconciled accurately for sign off.
Additional ad hoc accounting/administration duties.

Person specification:
Previous experience in a bookkeeping/accounts related role.
Strong IT skills including MS Excel and financial software systems.
Ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills.
Capable of working alone and managing a personal workload.
Reliable and trustworthy with a strong work ethic.
