Job Description:

McKinty Associates are pleased to be working on behalf of a respected Belfast-based practice with an immediate need for an experienced Accounts professional to join their team. You will undertake a hands-on role preparing accounts, bookkeeping, payroll, and some tax responsibilities for a mixed client base across many sectors.

We are happy to consider applications for Full and Part-Time candidates

Main duties will include:

  • Reconciliations
  • Payroll
  • VAT Returns
  • Basic personal and corporate tax
  • Annual Accounts / Year End Accounts
  • Ad hoc duties as required

Essential eligibility criteria:

  • Previous experience in a similar role would be desirable (1 Year plus in Practice)
  • Experience of using computerised accounting software (Xero/Sage)
  • Good working knowledge of practical payroll matters and current legislation
  • Motivated and flexible attitude
  • Ability to liaise with clients across a range of sectors
