Qualifications

• Proven bookkeeping experience, ideally within SMEs.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes, VAT, and tax reporting.
• Confident using multiple accounting systems and working to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate data from accounting systems to prepare journals and VAT returns.
• Calculate tax payments and manage fixed asset depreciation.
• Support audit preparation, including compiling and maintaining audit packs.
• Manage end-to-end payroll, including submissions of P60s, P11Ds, and P46s.
• Handle new starter and leaver processes, acting as the first point of contact for payroll queries.
