We are excited to be recruiting a brand-new role for a growing manufacturing business while they establish their newest office site locally. This is a permanent role based in Dursley, with growth plans for the near future where they can expect someone to grow with the business.

In this role, you will be responsible for processing transactions, preparing reports and maintaining accurate financial records.

You will have the support of a remote Accountant/Financial Controller as well as an on-site FP&A Analyst and will be offered a hybrid working pattern of 3 days in office/2 days WFH. There may be times where fully remote work will be offered to allow for upcoming office renovations.

Responsibilities

  1. Reconciliation of the bank and credit cards.
  2. Posting all bank expenditure and banking.
  3. Posting all purchase and sale invoices.
  4. Regularly reviewing Debtors & Creditors.
  5. Assist with payroll processing.
  6. Monthly/quarterly management accounts.
  7. Working with suppliers and customers.
  8. Liaising with accountant as needed.
  9. Quarterly VAT return, including reverse charge VAT.

Key Attributes

Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm (hybrid working offered)

Salary: £27,000 - £35,000 per annum depending on experience + benefits including free parking, ongoing team support, hybrid working flexibility and further benefits to be defined once in post.
