An established business in the United Kingdom is looking for an accounting professional to manage customer payments, invoices, and financial records. This role offers flexible hours starting at two days per week, with the potential to grow into a full-time position. Responsibilities include processing payments, reconciling bank accounts, and generating financial reports.

Responsibilities

  • Record customer payments and allocate to invoices.
  • Process invoices received into Xero.
  • Process bills received into Xero.
  • Process bank transactions using bank feeds or manual reconciliation.
  • Maintain and update accounting records in Xero.
  • Chase outstanding payments as light credit control.
  • Reconcile bank accounts.
  • Update cash flow forecasts.
  • Prepare and send out customer statements.
  • Generate management reports like P&L and balance sheet.
  • Process staff expense claims.

Overview
