Bookkeeper / Accounts Person

Location: Maidenhead

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 pro-rata, per annum

Our client is a small, friendly, locally run business providing a high-quality service to their clients. They have a mixture of domestic, commercial and industrial clients. Most of their work is carried out in the Maidenhead and Henley area.


The Role

They are currently looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable individual to join their small but busy office. The successful candidate must be a team player and able to work unsupervised.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Sales Ledger
  2. Purchase Ledger
  3. Data input
  4. Costing analysis
  5. Payroll
  6. Other accounts related tasks
  7. General administration

Skills And Qualifications
  1. The candidate must possess good computer skills particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
  2. Previous in depth experience of Sage Line 50 and Sage Payroll is essential.
  3. Attention to detail
  4. The ability to work accurately under pressure
  5. Good communication and organisational skills
  6. The ability to work as part of a team with a positive attitude
