Salary: £15.40 - £17

Hours: Part-time 20 hours per week

We are seeking a detail-oriented bookkeeper to join our client s growing team, they are looking for someone to grow with the company as they continue to expand year on year. This is a part-time permanent role; this position offers a competitive salary of £15.40 - £17 per hour. You'll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, monitoring compliance, and collaborating with the accounting and management teams to ensure the smooth running of the business.

The Role:

  • Accurate Record-Keeping - Meticulously record daily company transactions and close the books monthly to provide a clear financial picture.
  • Financial Health and Compliance - Monitor the company's financial health and ensure all tax forms and compliance requirements are met.
  • Integrated Technology - Leverage bookkeeping software like QuickBooks or NetSuite to streamline processes and reduce errors.

Skills and Requirements:

  • The ability to record daily company transactions and maintain timely communications with clients.
  • Must have experience using Sage.
  • Experience in managing accounts payable, receivable, and payroll.
  • Processing purchases and refunds for customers, ensuring accurate financial records.
  • Working closely with accountants to ensure tax compliance and reporting requirements are met.
  • Demonstrating a strong understanding of accounting and financial operations.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
