Bookkeeper (Accounts Payable) required in Swindon.
Our client, an independent used van/commercial vehicle dealership located in Swindon with over 400+ vehicles in stock, is currently looking to recruit a Bookkeeper.
Reporting to the Managing Director, as a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for the day-to-day accounts payable functions of our client's business.
Your key responsibilities will include:
To be successful in this Bookkeeper role, you'll need to be organised, proactive, and confident working with numbers. Our client is looking for someone with proven experience in a bookkeeping or accounts payable role, a strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping principles, and a proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, or similar) and MS Excel. Overall, you will have an excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and great communication skills, both written and verbal. An AAT Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) would be preferred, but is not essential if you have the right experience.
