Bookkeeper

Location: 1704 61 Street, Calgary, AB T2A 4V5

Workplace: On site

Salary: $35.50 per hour, 30 to 40 hours per week

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time

Starts: As soon as possible

Responsibilities

• Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
• Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
• Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
• Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
• Post journal entries
• Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
• Prepare tax returns
• Prepare trial balance of books
• Reconcile accounts

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
• Computer skills: Accounting software, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Windows, MS Word, Simply Accounting, MS Office
• Area of specialization: Accounting
