Job description

Exciting bookkeeper opportunity with growing employer in Perth!


What's on offer:

  1. Competitive salary ranging from £27k to £30k, based on experience
  2. Permanent position with working hours: 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday, office based

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Efficiently handle customer and supplier payments, ensuring accurate reconciliation of transactions
  2. Manage deposit receipts and deposit funds to the bank
  3. Reconcile and process supplier remittances
  4. Handle credit card payments
  5. Assist with tax return filings and ensure compliance with tax regulations
  6. Process customer direct debit payments before month-end to minimise outstanding balances
  7. Email customer statements on the last working day of each month
  8. Accurately process international supplier payments in a timely manner
  9. Raise and process invoices while managing daily Track POD runs
  10. Log and process customer credit requests received from Smartsheet and other sources
  11. Handle rebate credits for key accounts
  12. Process supplier payments at month-end and as required
  13. Efficiently handle and forward incoming and outgoing mail
  14. Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
  15. Provide support to the finance team and assist with ad hoc administrative tasks as needed

Skills we are looking for:

  1. Previous experience in a bookkeeper role
  2. Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail
  3. Proficiency in financial software such as Interprise, MySagePay, Smartsheet, or similar systems
  4. Excellent communication and organisational skills
  5. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
