Job summary

A well-established SME in Goole is seeking a Bookkeeper for a hands-on role, responsible for maintaining financial records and transferring accounts to Microsoft Dynamics. The position allows for up to 3 days of home working once the system is implemented, providing great flexibility for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience with Sage and Microsoft Dynamics is preferred.
• Hands-on bookkeeping experience necessary.
• Ability to work independently in a standalone role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain financial transaction records through posting and verification.
• Process accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconcile company accounts and prepare trial balances.

Job description

Bookkeeper role with an SME based in Goole. This role reports to the MD locally with a dotted line to the overseas parent company. This is a hands-on stand alone role and the appointed bookkeeper will get involved in transferring the accounts from Sage to Microsoft Dynamics.

Once this system is in place the role can offer up to 3 days working from home.

The role will include;

• Maintaining records of financial transactions by posting and verifying
• Billing
• Daily bookkeeping
• Preparing a trial balance for the accountants
• Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Reconciling company accounts
