Part-Time Bookkeeper (Opportunity to Transition to Full-Time)

Established in 2007, we provide expert services in property acquisition, development, and portfolio management to both private and institutional investors. Our firm collaborates with leading banks, law firms, and accountancy practices to deliver strategic, high-value financial and real estate outcomes.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Bookkeeper to join our finance team on a part-time basis, with the potential to transition into a full-time role based on performance and business needs. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured environment and is confident managing financial records in accordance with UK regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records

Handle accounts payable and receivable

Prepare and submit VAT returns; liaise with HMRC as required

Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow

Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes

Work with accounting software - QuickBooks

Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards and internal controls

Assist with audits and coordinate with external accountants

Candidate Requirements:

Minimum 1-3 years of bookkeeping experience within the UK

Proficiency in accounting software - QuickBooks

Strong understanding of UK VAT and bookkeeping regulations

High level of attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent communication and time-management skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Must be legally authorised to work in the UK

Immediate availability required

On-site presence is mandatory
