• Maintain strong client communication and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

As a bookkeeper, you will manage your own portfolio of clients, ensuring their financial records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant. Your day-to-day will include:

• Client Bookkeeping: Managing day-to-day bookkeeping for a diverse range of clients.
• Software Management: Utilising cloud-based software, primarily Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage.
• Tax Compliance: Preparing and submitting VAT returns and quarterly Making Tax Digital (MTD ITSA) submissions.
• Financial Reporting: Maintaining precise financial records and ensuring all reports are submitted on time.
• Client Relations: Acting as a key point of contact, managing multiple deadlines, and resolving client queries with a consultative approach.

• Software Savvy: Fully proficient in cloud-based platforms, specifically Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage. You should have a genuine interest in staying ahead of tech advancements.
