A leading SME in Goole is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to take charge of financial transactions and assist in transferring accounts from Sage to Microsoft Dynamics. This hands-on, standalone position offers flexibility with up to 3 days of remote work after system implementation and requires strong organizational skills and relevant experience.

Job description

Bookkeeper role with an SME based in Goole. This role reports to the MD locally with a dotted line to the overseas parent company. This is a hands-on stand alone role and the appointed bookkeeper will get involved in transferring the accounts from Sage to Microsoft Dynamics.

Once this system is in place the role can offer up to 3 days working from home.

The role will include;

• Maintaining records of financial transactions by posting and verifying
• Billing
• Daily bookkeeping
• Preparing a trial balance for the accountants
• Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Reconciling company accounts
