The Accountancy practice in expanding and they’re looking for a meticulous and proactive Bookkeeper to join the team in a full-time role that offers hybrid remote working from their Eastbourne office.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Keeping financial records accurate and up-to-date using QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
  • Managing accounts payable and ensuring timely payments
  • Reconciling bank statements and overseeing cash flow
  • Preparing monthly reports including P&L and balance sheets
  • Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations
  • Collaborating across departments to provide financial insights

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role (Accounts Clerk, Accounts Payable)
  • Strong grasp of accounting principles
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
  • Familiarity with accounts payable processes
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
