Job summary

eps.group services is seeking an experienced bookkeeper to join an established, supportive accountancy practice in Dunstable. You will run day-to-day bookkeeping for a varied portfolio of clients using cloud systems, and prepare VAT returns and management information.

You'll be a reliable point of contact for clients, handling queries and keeping records up to date. The role offers £31,000–£35,000 depending on experience, plus 25 days' holiday, a company pension and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Solid bookkeeping experience, ideally within a practice or outsourced setting.
• Experience with cloud accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage).
• Good knowledge of VAT and MTD requirements.
• Strong Excel skills and a methodical, accurate approach.

• Posting sales, purchase, bank and journal entries and reconciling accounts.

• Producing management accounts and reports where needed.

An experienced bookkeeper who enjoys variety and working closely with clients? We're recruiting a Bookkeeper for an established, supportive accountancy practice in Dunstable. You'll run bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients across their different cloud systems, prepare VAT returns and management information, and be a reliable point of contact clients trust.

What you'll bring

• Good knowledge of VAT and MTD requirements
• Strong Excel and a methodical, accurate approach
• AAT qualified or studying is welcome (not essential)
