Overview

A successful manufacturing business based in South-East London is looking to hire a Bookkeeper to join them on a permanent basis. This role offers hybrid working. Reporting to the Directors and working in a busy manufacturing site, the Bookkeeper will be responsible for:

Responsibilities

• Reconciling bank accounts
• Day-to-day transactions and reconciliation using Xero
• Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns
• Preparing quarterly management reports
• Assisting in year-end process
• Processing and reconciling of purchase invoices
• Processing accounts payable
• Monitoring sales receivables
• Cash flow reporting/forecasting
• Monthly CIS returns
• Liaising with the external firm of Accountants as required
• Processing a small monthly payroll

Requirements / Qualifications

This role would suit an experienced AAT-qualified bookkeeper who possesses excellent experience using Xero and has worked in a sole charge capacity previously. The Bookkeeper must possess excellent double-entry knowledge and have strong MS Excel skills.
