Bookkeeper - Belfast

MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with an established and growing Practice located in Belfast, looking to recruit for a Bookkeeper on a full time, permanent basis.

Job Duties of the Bookkeeper include:

  • Bookkeeper role supporting a range of SME clients
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns
  • Perform bank reconciliations and process sales invoices
  • Maintain records up to trial balance stage
  • Assist with payroll processing (mainly for holiday cover)
  • Attend occasional client site visits
  • Experience using Xero, QuickBooks, and some Sage

What you need to be the Bookkeeper

  • Practice experience preferred, but candidates from industry with management accounts and bookkeeping background will be considered
  • Experience with Xero and QuickBooks is preferred
  • Solid bookkeeping experience is preference
