Job description

TATLER is seeking a Bookings Editor responsible for producing all of Tatler's cover and fashion shoots, as well as some feature shoots. The successful candidate will work closely with the features team to pitch cover ideas to the Editor-in-Chief and book talent for shoots. The Editorial Producer will collaborate with the art department and Managing Editor to ensure shoots are on brand, on schedule, and within budget. This role offers a unique opportunity to play a key part in commissioning fashion photographers.

  1. Pitching cover stars and booking talent: Collaborate with the features and fashion teams to pitch talent and ensure the right fit for Tatler's cover.
  2. Casting models: Identify and select models that align with the shoot's creative vision.
  3. Booking hair and makeup teams: Coordinate with artists, managing availability, rates, and logistics for seamless shoots.
  4. Researching and negotiating shoot locations: Find and secure locations, handling contracts and logistics.
  5. Organising travel and liaising with agencies: Manage travel arrangements for talent and photographers, coordinating with agencies for schedules and changes.
  6. Requirements: In-depth knowledge of shoot production, ability to work under pressure, creative problem-solving skills, strong communication, and established industry contacts.
  7. Qualifications: Experience working on luxury titles, a keen eye for fashion photography and concepts, budget and deadline management skills, and a calm demeanor under pressure.
