Our Outpatients Call Centre, based at Basildon Centre, St Martins Square offices are on the second floor of the building which is situated in the Town Centre of Basildon.

Upon appointment you may be expected to work in one of the main site hospitals (Basildon, Broomfield or Southend) for training and learning purposes, with you then moving to the office in Basildon Town Centre once competencies have been met.

Main duties of the job

As part of the central booking team, you will be responsible for booking both new and follow up appointments across Basildon, Broomfield and Southend.

We are looking for someone who:

Enjoys interacting with patients

Confident at reading and responding to emails and has basic IT skills

Is accurate and methodical when following set processes

Has good organisational skills

Enjoys working as a team working and collaboration

Confident with holding phone conversations with members of the public
