Job summary

Confidential in Hull is seeking a BOM Administrator to manage detailed Bills of Materials and related product data. You will work closely with engineering, production and project teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness of information across the product lifecycle.

The role focuses on data integrity, reporting, and enabling smooth change processes, with opportunities to contribute to improvements in data practices within a collaborative technical environment.

Qualifications

• Experience using data management systems to handle detailed information.
• Advanced Excel skills with data validation and cross-checking of datasets.
• Excellent attention to detail with a methodical data handling approach.
• Clear, effective communication across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain accurate bills of materials (BOM) for products, collaborating with engineering.
• Manage detailed product and parts information, including costs, weights, and stock obsolescence.
• Support engineering changes, assess impact, and circulate relevant information to the right stakeholders.
• Produce reports, KPIs and data to help track project progress and product data.
• Provide accurate BOM and part number data to colleagues across production, aftersales and technical teams.
