Our client is a trailblazer in innovative marine engineering, specialising in the design, optimisation, and supply of decarbonisation solutions for the maritime industry. With a heritage rooted in cutting-edge technology and high-performance development, they deliver world-class products that are revolutionising the sector. Combining expertise in wing propulsion, foiling, and advanced flight control systems, they are driving the sustainability revolution in the maritime and shipping industries.

They are now seeking a BoM (Bill of Material) Manager to join their forward-thinking team. This role will play a vital part in supporting the design and execution of cutting-edge projects, collaborating with leading experts to take ownership of project BoMs (Bill of Materials) from concept through to production.

As well as being highly organised and data-driven, our ideal candidate will also have experience with using Teamcenter, Workspace, and NX integration. This role is based in a vibrant office location at the entrance to Portsmouth Harbour with a company that is on a huge upward trajectory.

Responsibilities
  1. Handle the creation and updates of project Bill of Materials (BoMs) from start to finish for various marine engineering projects.
  2. Oversee the approval and release of designs for components and assemblies.
  3. Manage the design team's use of custom-made parts.
  4. Work with other departments to streamline processes.
  5. Collaborate with department leaders to plan and track project progress.
  6. Work closely with the Project Lifecycle Managers to ensure the project and its component parts are delivered on time and to budget.
