Boiler Engineer

Salary:£42,000 - £48,000 DOE

Orion is partnered with a fast-paced manufacturing business based near Stowmarket. We are recruiting for an experienced Boiler Engineer to join the team

Boiler Engineer responsibilities:

• Servicing biomass boilers
• Maintaining industrial boiler systems
• Maintenance of hydraulics, valves, steam lines, pumps etc..

Boiler Engineer required Experience:

• Mechanical Qualification
• BOAS – would be advantageous
• 5 years in FMCG manufacturing
• Basic welding experience would be key
• All applicants must have strong experience with industrial boiler/steam boiler maintenance

Must have experience with compressors, boilers, chillers, cooling, refrigeration plants, pumps motors etc..

Boiler Engineer Package:

• Competitive Salary £42,000 - £48,000
• On call system (£165 to hold the phone for a week, normal hourly rate for week days, time and a half for Saturdays and double time for Sundays)
• Varied site-based work
• Progression opportunities

Boiler Engineer Shifts:

3 tier shift rotation DAYS ONLY: 8am – 5pm:

Week 1: 7x days on 2x days off

Week 2: 3x days on 2x days off

Week 3: 5x days on 2x days off
