Job summary

SR PLUMBING NW LTD is looking for a Boiler Breakdown Engineer to handle domestic heating work across Derby and Derbyshire. The role focuses on fault-finding in boilers, heating repairs, and customer service, ensuring that issues are resolved professionally.

The successful applicant will be Gas Safe registered, have at least 3 years experience with domestic boiler systems, and a full UK driving licence. This is a full-time position offering a starting salary of £40,000, a company van, and uniform.

Qualifications

• Gas Safe registered for domestic gas work.
• At least 3 years of experience working on domestic boiler breakdown and repairs.
• Practical understanding of heating controls, radiators, and common system faults.

Responsibilities

• Visit customers for boiler breakdown and heating issues.
• Trace faults across boilers and heating systems.
• Complete repairs safely, including related plumbing tasks.

Skills

Gas Safe registered for domestic gas work

Minimum of 3 years experience in boiler breakdown and repair

Practical understanding of heating controls and systems

Confidence diagnosing issues across boiler brands
