Job summary

Slim Chickens Merry Hill is seeking a Back of House Team Member to join our busy, kitchen-driven team. You will help prepare and cook menu items to high standards, maintain cleanliness, and ensure food safety at all times. A collaborative, positive attitude is essential to thrive in our fast-paced environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Preparing and cooking menu items to perfection, ensuring every dish meets our high standards
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment

• Assisting with inventory management, stock rotation, and ensuring the freshness of ingredients
• Working as part of a team to ensure orders are prepared accurately and delivered on time

• Supporting the kitchen team with various tasks to ensure smooth and efficient operations

What We're Looking For

• A passion for cooking and delivering quality food
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
• Previous kitchen experience is a plus, but a willingness to learn and a positive attitude are essential!
