Job summary

Holt Recruitment is seeking a Quality Controller for a busy bodyshop in the Warrington area. This permanent role offers a professional environment with a pay of circa £35,000 per annum. Monday to Friday work and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays are provided.

You will conduct staged QC across repairs, maintain a defects register and ensure corrective action is taken to prevent recurrence, applying up-to-date vehicle repair knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy bodyshop and understand repair methods.
• Previous experience as Quality Controller and be a strong team player.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced accident repair centre.

Bodyshop Quality Controller

Permanent Role

I am currently working with a highly efficient and well equipped bodyshop who are now looking for an experienced Quality Controller to join their busy site in the Warrington area.

Quality Controller / QC job role:

• You will ensure that all jobs are completed in a professional and correct manner and that final quality checks are undertaken in line with BSI0125 or any other applicable standard.
• The role will include staged QC so checking every stage of the repair
• You will maintain a register of quality defects and be instrumental in ensuring appropriate corrective action is taken to avoid ongoing re-occurrence of such issues.
• Previous experience of working in a busy Bodyshop as a productive is essential.
• You will ideally have held a quality control or supervisory position.

You will work to a high standard and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques.

Requirements for Quality Controller / QC:

• Have previous experience of working as a productive in a bodyshop and understand the repair methods
• Have previous experience working as a Quality Controller and be a strong team player with a self-motivation.
• Will work to the highest standard and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair technique with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced accident repair centre.
