Bodyshop Manager / General Manager

Our client, a large busy Bodyshop/Accident Repair Centre in the Wigan area, is currently looking for an experienced manager to run their highly successful site.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of excellent customer service and site profitability by motivating, supporting, and managing their team to deliver quality repairs - on time, every time.

Roles and Responsibilities for the Bodyshop Manager role:
  1. Manage activities of the production/workshop operations to ensure efficient work scheduling
  2. Implement/manage work processes to ensure quality/service levels meet or exceed expectations
  3. Hold daily production meetings to ensure work completion targets with team leaders, parts, and reception staff
  4. Confirming quotes
  5. Identify training and development needs and (subject to approval) implement required training and/or coaching
  6. Conduct Quality Control checks before returning vehicles to customers
Skills and experience required as a Bodyshop Manager:
  1. Previous experience in a similar role is required
  2. A team player approach is essential
  3. A strong leader who can motivate their team to achieve high standards in customer service, efficiency, and profitability
  4. Understanding of modern repair processes and techniques, with an eye for sales opportunities and strong interpersonal skills
