Bodyshop Manager

Salary: Realistic Earnings £77,000 - £78,000 per annum

Working Hours: Monday to Friday

Job Type: Permanent Vacancy

Our client, a busy Bodyshop/Accident Repair Centre in the Gillingham area, is currently looking for an experienced Bodyshop Manager.

Roles and Responsibilities
  1. Manage activities of the production/workshop operations to ensure efficient work scheduling
  2. Implement/manage work processes to ensure quality/service levels meet or exceed expectations
  3. Hold daily production meetings with team leaders, parts, and reception staff to ensure work completion targets
  4. Identify training and development needs and implement required training and coaching (subject to approval)
  5. Conduct quality control checks before returning vehicles to customers
Skills and Experience
  • Previous experience in a similar role or as a Workshop Control is required
  • Team player approach is essential
  • Strong leadership skills to guide the team towards excellent customer service, efficiency, and profitability
  • Understanding of modern repair processes and techniques, with an eye for sales opportunities and strong interpersonal skills
