Job summary

Holt Recruitment Group is recruiting for a Bodyshop Manager in the Dorney area. The role offers a salary up to £75,000 per annum with a bonus, and a potential OTE around £110k. A company car can be included in the package and a comprehensive benefits package is expected.

The successful candidate will oversee production/workshop operations, maximize resource utilisation, manage parts and subcontracting, and drive quality and service levels while leading a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Bodyshop/Workshop environment or as a Bodyshop Manager is required.
• Strong leadership to drive a team and improve customer service, efficiency and profit.
• Clear understanding of modern repair processes and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Manage production/workshop operations to ensure efficient scheduling.
• Maximise utilisation of resources; parts ordering; site control; sub-contracting; valeting.
• Implement and manage work processes to meet quality/service targets.
• Hold daily production meetings with team leaders, parts and reception staff.
• Identify training needs and implement coaching where approved.

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Bodyshop Manager to join a leading Bodyshop in the Dorney area.

Roles and Responsibilities for the Bodyshop Manager role:

• Manage activities of the production/workshop operations to ensure efficient work scheduling
• Maximise utilisation of human resources; parts ordering; site control; sub-contracting; valeting
• Implement/manage work processes to ensure quality/service levels meet or exceed expectations
• Hold daily production meetings to ensure work completion targets with team leaders, parts and reception staff
• Identify training and development needs and (subject to approval) implement required training and/or coaching

Skills and experience required as a Bodyshop Manager:

• Previous experience in a similar role or as a Workshop Control / Bodyshop Manager is required for this position
• A team player approach is essential
• A strong leader, who will lead their team to produce a result in terms of customer service, efficiency, and profit
• You will have a clear understanding of modern repair processes and techniques, also an eye for driving sales opportunities combined with strong interpersonal skills
