  • Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 DOE

  • Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday with ad hoc Saturdays as needed

Key Responsibilities of a Bodyshop Manager:
  • Oversee daily operations of the bodyshop to ensure smooth workflow and efficient service.
  • Allocate work to technicians and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of technicians, estimators, and support staff.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training and development opportunities.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by managing customer expectations and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Monitor and control budgetary expenditure, ensuring profitability.
  • Manage invoicing, parts ordering, and cost control.
  • Implement and oversee quality control procedures to ensure all work is completed to a high standard.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of completed work.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the workshop.
  • Identify areas for improvement within bodyshop processes and implement changes to enhance efficiency.
  • Build and maintain relationships with parts suppliers and service providers.

Our client is looking for knowledge and experience already working in a busy Accident Repair Management environment and who can travel to Dartford for the long term.
