Job summary

Arnold Clark Group in Inverness is seeking an organised and friendly Bodyshop Estimator to join our busy Inverness Bodyshop. You will guide customers through the entire process from first contact in the workshop to explaining completed work.

You must be presentable with strong communication skills and be able to carry out estimates efficiently and professionally, coordinating with insurers and staff as needed.

• Strong communication abilities.
• Good telephone manner.

Responsibilities

• Supplying estimates of any repairs needed and communicating them effectively to the customer.
• Talking to insurers to gain authorisation for repairs.
• Booking courtesy cars.
• Keeping the customer informed at every stage of the job and advising them of any extra work or payments that may be required.
• Answering general queries at the reception desk or over the phone.
• Liaising successfully with staff and engineers.
• Attending training courses as required.
