About the role

As a Bodyshop Estimator, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service. You will ensure that customers' vehicles are fully and accurately assessed for repairs and damage to a high standard. An average day as a Bodyshop Estimator

• You will work closely with the Bodyshop Manager and estimate vehicles requiring body repairs and paintwork to a high standard.
• You will produce estimates according to Thatcham/Manufacturer methods, ensuring profitability.
• You will liaise with Bodyshop Technicians for supplementary orders and parts.
• You will obtain final approval for repairs and liaise with insurance companies for authorisation and invoicing.
• You will provide insurers with parts and subcontract details for audits.
• You will assist the Bodyshop Manager with daily operations.

About You

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a challenging environment.
• Ability to work well under pressure with a calm demeanor.
• Experience in developing relationships with customers, insurance companies, and colleagues.
• Audatex certification is required.
• Ideally, you will have ATA/VDA certification and Autoflow experience, but these are not essential.
• You should have the drive to maintain a productive, profitable department and work under pressure to achieve results.
