Job description

Job Title: Bodyshop Estimator

We are working with a busy Bodyshop in Eastbourne who is looking to recruit a Bodyshop Estimator to work in their busy operation.

Location: Eastbourne, East Sussex

Responsibilities:
  1. Correctly interpret Customer or internal instructions and complete estimates and associated documentation, following documented Quality Procedures.
  2. Examine vehicles and produce estimates for repairs; liaise and negotiate with Customers and Insurance Companies as required.
  3. Monitor estimate/conversion rate.
  4. Ensure that all necessary information is obtained and recorded, as required by documented procedures.
  5. Maintain professional appearance and manner to present the best possible image to Customers, in accordance with Company Policy.
  6. Maintain good working relationships with Customers and other dealership staff.
  7. Record any Customer complaints or non-conformance of the Quality System and implement appropriate corrective actions by following documented procedures.
  8. Carry out any further duties within capabilities, as requested by management, which may include visiting Customers and working outside normal hours.
