Location: Hybrid working - 3-4 days onsite in Woking, Surrey

Position Type: Rolling contract

About the company:

I am recruiting for a high-end low-volume client specializing in supercars, based in Surrey. They are seeking a Body Structures Engineer with experience in composites and carbon fibre.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading and delivering body structure systems to meet design specifications and styling.
• Supporting prototype and production build support.
• Ensuring components and assemblies adhere to industry and business standards.
• Supporting problem-solving activities during virtual and physical builds.
• Assessing prototypes for issues or risks and mitigating them.
• Estimating costs and budgets for new designs.
• Representing the department in design reviews and testing activities.
• Ensuring compliance with legislative standards.
• Coordinating design work for timely releases and manufacturing inputs.
• Design and manufacture of carbon fibre components.
• Creating and managing engineering technical specifications.
• Experience with OEM DVP&R, DFM, and DFA.
