Body Repair Technician

Salary Dependent on Experience

Our long-established automotive Client in Newark is seeking a skilled Body Repair Technician to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

The Role

The key duties performed by the Body Repair Technician will include, but not be limited to:

- Replacing damaged bodywork components
- Refitting and repairing GRP and aluminium panels
- Rebuilding wooden cabinets and internal structures
- Carrying out repairs
- Working to manufacturer and industry standards
- Diagnosing issues

The Candidate

The successful Body Repair Technician will be able to demonstrate:

- Experience in a Bodyshop environment within the automotive industry
- Commercial vehicle bodywork
- Motorhome or caravan repair / manufacturing knowledge or experience
- Understanding of materials including GRP, aluminium and timber
- Proficiency in hand and power tools
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
- Ideally, you will possess relevant NVQ / City & Guilds qualifications.
