Job description
Overview

Body Shop Technician Welder Fabricator. £39k - £42k. We are looking for an experienced technician to work in our busy body shop.

Responsibilities
  • Perform welding and fabrication tasks to repair and modify commercial trailers and related components.
  • Carry out structural repairs including floor repairs, curtain replacements, and pelmet renewals.
  • Repair and install curtain sides, roller shutters, and rear barn doors on commercial trailers.
  • Conduct fibreglass and filler work to maintain and restore vehicle body integrity.
  • Diagnose and fix a variety of trailer issues across a large and diverse fleet.
  • Ensure all repairs are completed safely and to a high standard, in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other technicians to ensure efficient workflow in a busy body shop environment.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area and properly handle tools and equipment.
  • Work Monday to Friday (08:00-17:30) with opportunities for overtime and Saturday rota participation.
Additional Details
  • Reports Directly To: Workshop Manager / Managing Director
  • Pay: £16-17 Per Hour.
  • Hours of work: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:30 with options for overtime and Saturday morning rota.
  • Holiday: 20 days holiday plus all bank holidays
