Job Role:

As a Vehicle Builder/Assembler/Body Engineer/Fitter, you will play a crucial role in crafting exceptional commercial vehicles. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Fabrication and Assembly: Constructing robust subframes and seamlessly integrating them into chassis. Precision assembly of bodywork components to exacting standards.
  2. Diverse Skill Set: Demonstrating proficiency in a range of essential techniques including drilling, cutting, and utilizing various hand and power tools such as spanners, drills, riveters, jigsaws, circular saws, and grinders.
  3. Electrical Aptitude (Desirable): While not essential, a basic understanding of electrical systems can be advantageous for certain projects.
  4. Fast-Paced Environment: Thriving in a high-pressure manufacturing setting and consistently meeting production targets.

Essential Requirements:
  1. Proven experience within a fast-paced engineering or manufacturing environment.
  2. Strong fabrication or fitting skills.
  3. A keen eye for detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
  4. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Skills:
  1. Previous experience in commercial vehicle construction.
  2. Knowledge of electrical systems is an advantage.
  3. Mig Welding is an advantage.
  4. Hydraulic/hose knowledge is an advantage.
