Job Description:

My client is expanding their boat sales operation and has a new and exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join this close-knit team working across Waterside Marinas. You will be a self-motivated individual with good knowledge of boats and excellent administrative skills. Previous experience in selling boats is not required; however, experience in sales, along with the right attitude and approach to customer service, is essential. Flexibility is key, as the working week will be 5 days over 7. This role covers several marinas in the Midlands, so a full UK driving license is necessary. An excellent remuneration package, including a basic salary and uncapped commission, is available for the right candidate.

Key Skills:

  1. Proficiency in IT skills, including emails, Excel, and Word
  2. Excellent communication skills, including a good telephone manner
  3. Ability to work across a designated region
  4. Experience in a customer-facing environment
  5. Good negotiation skills
  6. An approachable character capable of working within a team and independently
  7. Knowledge of narrowboats is not essential but a love for boats is advantageous
