Network Certification Body (NCB) invites applications for a Board Chair to lead governance of a specialist assurance and certification organisation in the UK rail sector. The Chair will shape strategy, promote robust debate and ensure independent, impartial oversight alongside the Managing Director and Board.

Qualifications

• Significant Board-level leadership experience, typically as Chair, NED or senior executive.
• Knowledge of UK corporate governance principles is essential.
• Experience in safety-critical or highly regulated environments is highly desirable.

Responsabilités

• Lead the Board, ensuring effective performance with appropriate support, scrutiny and challenge.
• Foster high-quality strategic discussion and informed decision-making.
• Maintain oversight of governance, risk and assurance.
