Job Title: BCBA Consultant

Type: Full-Time, 1-year Maternity Contract

Salary: £40,000 - £44,000 + probation bonus

Start Date: April 2025 or sooner if possible

MLK Education Search is working with an ‘Outstanding’ Independent Special School in London that wishes to appoint a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) to join their school as soon as possible.

The BCBA will be responsible for supporting the ABA supervisors and class leads in conducting assessments, developing skill acquisition programs, developing individualised behaviour reduction plans and providing behavioural skills training and support to staff and families. The goal is to improve the communication, play, leisure, social, independence and academic outcomes for pupils within the school.

This is an inclusive co-educational provision for children with Autism aged between 5 and 16 years and is split across two sites. Each pupil receives an individually devised programme based on a pupil-centred, multi-professional approach to learning, aimed at increasing communication and independence.

This is a rare chance for a committed ABA expert to join an 'Outstanding' provision and pair with a supportive CEO and SLT to grow and develop the offering which currently provides exceptional education to over 75 children from 17 different Local Authorities.

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of Applied Behaviour Analysis principles and techniques.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams.
  • Dedication to ethical practices and continuous professional development.
