A community organization in Llanfair-yn-Neubwll seeks a part-time Kitchen Assistant to join their busy catering team. The role involves assisting in meal preparation and ensuring hygiene standards for a nursery. Ideal candidates will have experience in a catering environment and must hold a Food Hygiene certificate. A rewarding opportunity to contribute to nurturing children's experiences during mealtimes. Salary is £12.26 per hour for 25 hours weekly.

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant. As part of the busy catering team, we would love to welcome a new colleague who can bring creativity and imagination with an abundance of great ideas to enhance mealtimes. Ideally you will have previous experience within a busy catering environment.
The key responsibilities of the role include assisting the cook in the management of the nursery kitchens, food policies, organising, preparing, and serving nursery meals in accordance with the nursery menus and individual dietary requirements. You will be a good role model to the children, demonstrating patience and encouragement and take all the necessary steps to safeguard children by following policies and procedures in place. You will be required to work 3 hours a day Monday to Friday. A current Food Hygiene certificate is a requirement for this role however we can provide training for the ideal candidate. Our Kitchen Assistants ensure hygiene and cleanliness within the kitchen is of the highest standard in accordance with Environmental Health requirements and legislation. Excellent knowledge of current legislations in Environmental Health and Food Standards Agency would be highly desirable.
