Job summary
UHDB NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to oversee the cost-efficient operation of building environmental control systems across the Queens Hospital Burton-On-Trent campus. You will ensure compliance with Health Technical Memorandum and Building Management Systems, supporting the Senior Management Team in safe operation and maintenance of plant and equipment.

Qualifications
- Recognised City & Guilds or NVQ 3 apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering Maintenance.
- Hold Certificate in Plumbing, Heating, and Ventilation.
- Experience in the maintenance, repair, installation and fitting of BMS/ automated controls related subject for Schneider control systems.
- Current driving licence and use of vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Maintain BMS installations, plant and equipment to ensure reliability.
- Program and commission BMS controls and sequences of operations.
- Troubleshoot and refine BMS to meet equipment specs.
- Monitor HVAC and water systems across the hospital estate.
- Follow safe working practices and responsive maintenance routines.
