Job summary

Optima Site Solutions Ltd is seeking a proactive BMS Service Operations Manager to lead the London-based service operation. You will oversee engineering teams, scheduled and reactive maintenance, and ensure service delivery meets SLAs while driving improvements.

You will manage client relationships, budgets, and the commercial performance of service contracts, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and industry guidelines.

Qualifications

• Strong BMS technical background with experience in maintenance and system optimisation.
• Experience managing service operations and engineering teams.
• Commercial awareness of budgets, profitability and cost control.
• Experience with customer relationships and service contracts.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation and industry standards.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee PPM and reactive maintenance, engineer scheduling and SLA performance.
• Manage BMS fault diagnosis, software modifications and system optimisation.
• Lead service engineers, coach performance and recruitment.
• Maintain client relationships, escalations and contract reviews.
• Oversee budgets, labour utilisation and contract profitability.
• Ensure RAMS, permits and safety compliance.
• Monitor KPIs and identify opportunities for maintenance/upgrades.
• Coordinate handover of new BMS installations into service operations.
