Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated BMS Service Engineer to join our growing team, supporting a wide range of commercial and industrial clients across the North West. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the performance, reliability, and energy efficiency of Building Management Systems (BMS), with a particular focus on Trend and Tridium platforms. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on engineer who enjoys problem-solving, working independently and as part of a team, and engaging directly with clients to deliver high-quality service and technical expertise. You will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, diagnosing faults, and optimising system performance using BMS analytics. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on BMS systems (Trend, Tridium, etc.)

  • Diagnose and resolve faults in existing BMS infrastructure

  • Perform software updates, reconfigure controllers, and adjust control strategies

  • Monitor and optimise site energy performance using BMS analytics and data interpretation

  • Provide detailed and accurate service/fault reports after site visits

  • Respond to reactive maintenance callouts professionally and promptly

  • Modify and upgrade BMS hardware and control panels as required

  • Liaise with clients and site managers to communicate findings and suggest improvements



Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in BMS servicing/maintenance within the construction or facilities management sector

  • Hands-on knowledge of BMS systems (ideally Trend or Tridium)

  • Valid CSCS/ECS site card

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail and a team-oriented attitude

  • Full UK Driving Licence
