Wipac Ltd Buckingham seeks a Metrology Engineer to lead 3D scanning and measurement for new automotive products. This fact-based role, supervised by the Advanced Quality Engineer, requires owning metrology processes, ensuring compliance with IATF 16949 and GD&T standards, and driving KPI improvements.

Formación

• Educated to a minimum of HNC/HND level in a relevant engineering or scientific subject.
• IATF 16949:2016 Lead auditor certification desirable.
• VDA 6.3 Lead auditor certification desirable.
• Experience with automotive quality tools and systems (PPAP, 8D, SPC, PFMEA).
• Knowledge of GD&T and measurement techniques.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain the BMS audit and metrology processes to support performance delivery.
• Lead internal and external audits with accreditation bodies and customers.
• Manage and report on audit schedules and CAR status; mentor audit teams.
• Plan and maintain metrology programs, including 3D scanning for new products.
• Support IMDS submissions and supplier audits as required.
